Bullying

Canyon Hills High School and the San Diego Unified School District, do not, under any circumstances support or allow the bullying or harassment of other students or members of the staff. The SDUSD has created a "Safe Schools Task Force" to support in addressing this issue. The purpose of the Safe Schools Task Force is to support a nondiscrimination policy to ensure a healthier learning environment for all students, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning students. The San Diego Unified School District is committed to ensure equal opportunity for all students in admission and access to the district's educational programs, guidance and counseling programs, athletic programs, testing procedures, and other activities and that all programs and activities be free from discrimination, including harassment, with respect to a student's actual or perceived sex, gender, ethnic group identification, race, national origin, religion, color, physical or mental disability, age, or sexual orientation.
